Course contents :
 |
| This training aims at initiating students (i) to the validation techniques of student assessments at the university level by using standardized tests with an automatic correction and (ii) to a scientific research on assessment issues (definition of the research question, conception of the experimental design, data collection and data entry, data analyses and reporting). |

Learning outcomes of the course :
 |
| Students will have to demonstrate their capabilities to :
1. Analyze statistical analyses output of standardized tests developed by the SMART and to provide advices to the professor in charge of the test;
2. Define research questions on potential advantages of computer assisted correction of open-ended questions;
3. Develop an experimental design for answering these research questions
4. Design the data collection and data entry processes
5. Propose statistical analyses for testing the hypotheses and interpret the results
6. Write a scientific report |
