Course contents :  
We will attempt to explain the diverse sociological approaches of the theater. We shall be interested in the audiences.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
The student will be capable of envisaging a specific problem (the relation to the public, for example) by using the adequate methodological tools.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
The student will be present at conference : "Pratiques artistiques, pratiques de recherche - pour quel partage ?" (10/10/2013)
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
The course will take the shape of a seminar where the student will analyze ( oral and written exercises) the proposed documents.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
The course will take place at the first semester.

The reading of the following book is required : N. DELHALLE (dir.), Le théâtre et ses publics. La création partagée, Besançon, Les Solitaires intempestifs, 2013.
