Irrigation applied to agricultural production in tropical regions

1) Crops water needs Evaporation and evapotranspiration Crops uptake and humidity profile in soils Calculation of water need (quantity and periodicity)
2) Soil salinity origins and consequences Technics against salinity
3)Introduction to the different irrigation techniques water distribution and impacts on soil water profile
Learning outcomes of the course :

Surface, drip and sprinkling irrigation engeneering formation After completing the course the student is expected to - Calculate the crop water needs - Calculate a water distribution system (quantity and periodicity) - Understand, evaluate and manage a problem of salinity.
