Course contents :  
The course is devoted to the reading and explaining of a major Ancient philosophical work. This year, the topic will be Plato's Sophist.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
The aim of the course is to learn how to read an ancient philosophical text by understanding its particular expression and way of thinking.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
No knowledge of Ancient Greek is required.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
After a general introduction, every session will have the form of a seminar, in which we will read collectively a portion of the text. Every participant in his turn will be asked to prepare one section.
