Course contents :  
Main chapters are ;
- Caracteristics and qualities of an evaluation design.
- Taxonomies of domains to be evaluated.
- Evaluation by judges : effects of scoring (critical docimology).
- Assessment of Partial Knowledge.
- Multiple Choice Questions.
- Item analysis and questions quality.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
Competencies targeted are : to be able to

  • describe and analyse an evaluation system and its components according to quality criteria;
  • suggest improvements.
This requires the Mastery of Specific : concepts (and capacity to apply them) about

  • Evaluation characteristics; relation between objectives and evaluation methods;
  • Quality procedures before and after testing (rules to write questions; item analysis).

(2) Transversal competence targeted : Having experienced an ODL (Open Distance Learning) course, from conceptor and the the learner sides.
