History of comparative linguistic. The Indo-European languages. The Proto-Indo-European phonological system. The Proto-Indo-European roots theory.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
To compare the modern and old languages from an historical angle.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Good knowleldge of the grammar of an Indo-European language different from French

Oral lessons, weekly exercices.
