Course contents :

| In order to be able to follow the courses taught in English in thier future Master, students must be able to:
- understand and summarise information
- make presentations
- take part in seminar activities
- write a report
By covering 4 units of Market Leader Upper-Intermediate, students will have to practise the 4 competences (reading and listening compréhension, speaking and writing).
The topics covered are the following: international marketing, crisis management, raising finance and customer service. |

Learning outcomes of the course :

| Maintain the B2 level and reach the C1 level thanks to a variety of activities covering the four competences. |

| Students must have a B2 level. |

| Variety of activities: disucssions, vocabulary exercises, listening and reading comprehension, case studies and presntations. |

| The course is based on 4 units of Market Leader Upper-Intermediate (Longman). The notes are given in class as well as press articles in English for further reading found in the press. |

Assessment methods and criteria :

| In-class assignments:
a presentation and two case studies: 20%
a report and a pitch: 20%
Written exam (listening and reading comprehension and an essay): 30%
Oral exam (reading a new article followed by a discussion): 30%
In second session, the wriiten and the oral exam are both worth 50% of the total mark. |
