Learning outcomes of the course :   Knowledge of statistical tools applied to statistical analysis in the social sciences Ability to use the STATISTICA software applied to European Social Survey data Ability to use the EXCEL software applied to European Social Survey data and Ability to use the online statistical analysis software applied to European Social Survey data (Specially the one for ESS). Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :   e-mail and Internet technologies Introductory course in Statistics Planned learning activities and teaching methods :   Exercises applied on European Social Survey data Computer Lab Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :   Lectures and practical cases : 30hrs Recommended or required readings :   Assessment methods and criteria :   Oral exam.
