Course contents :  
The course delivers a general approach to the (global) political history from 1880 to the present. Connections with other specific courses (e.g. history of cinema) will be established.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
The course aims to deliver factual and conceptual knowledge that will allow the students in Information and Communication to class in time and space the evolutions and historical events they will study during their curriculum.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
None. However, it is advisable to have a good command of French. To help you, you can contact the departmental teaching assistant.

All the documents showed during the lesson (iconography, maps, slides...) will be available on MyULg ("fichiers").
The acquisition (or the regular consultation) of a historical atlas can helpfully complete de study of the evolutions and events presented by the lessons.

Q1: thursday, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., salle Wilmotte (A2, level +3)
Q2: tuesday, 10:15-11:45 a.m., institut d'anatomie (rue des Pitteurs)
