Course contents :  
History of the West from the 5th through the 15th century.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
The student will gain knowledge with technical vocabulary and definite chronology and geography of the Middle Ages period. He will get a general mastery of the medieval History, necessary precondition to continue his history training. He will be able to produce an individual reflection on the main characteristics of this period.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
None. However, it is advisable to have a good command of French.

Lecture
Personal revision of the chronology of the medieval period.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :

Januar : short written test (MCQ) (2d session mai - 3th session August)
June : oral exam
