2. Infrared spectroscopy
3. Raman spectroscopy
4. Mössbauer spectroscopy
5. Electron microscopy
6. Experimental mineralogy

Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
The basics of Mineralogy have to be known.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
Face-to-face learning. Practicals are obligatory.
Recommended or required readings :

Assessment methods and criteria :  
Oral examination for theory. An analytical report, concerning a mineralogical sample, is asked to evaluate the practicals.
