Course contents :  
The seminar focuses on field research about environmental diagnosis of a region. It includes : - a preliminary work of understanding and contact with the field work - a field research on a small region - writing a collective report
Learning outcomes of the course :  
1. Theoretical an practical skills of "patrimonial audit" 2. Ability to conduct field research 3. Analysis and synthesis of research results 4. Ability to team work.

Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
Part 1 Desk analysis on the case study. Definition of themes to be studied, of actors to be interviewed, appointments) Part 2 Field inquiry in the case region. Students meet - alone or by group- local actors. The group discuss results each day? Part 3. Synthesis of research results. Writing of the report.

Assessment methods and criteria :  
Evaluation will be made: - on the active participation of the student in the field research - on the final report It will be completed by an individual discussion with the professor.

Organizational remarks :  
This seminar is a residential one and implies travelling to a French region for one week. Students will participate to the accomodation and travel costs (about 200 euros).
