Course contents :

| The course covers the following subjects:
- Foundations
- Vertical walls
- Floors
- Roofing
- Openings and Frame
- External Finishes
- Interieures Finishes
- Vertical circulations and Ducts
During the explanation of all of these areas, the course will focus on:
- The analysis and evaluation of construction systems
- The Building products most used
- Execution plans used in construction of building
Students have to use their computer to draw some plans.
Several courses can be arranged on site. Students will be equipped with a helmet, safety shoes and construction of a fluorescent jacket in order to access the sites.

| The course is comprised of 30 hours of ex-cathedra theoretical classes and 60 hours practical work. It will take place in the 1rst and 2nd quadrimesters. |

Assessment methods and criteria :
 |
| Written exams are organised in January and in June and relate to all the theoretical and practical material.
During one part of each exam the student may use the written course.
The mark for the practical work counts for 40 % of the final mark; the mark for the exam counts for 60 % of the rest.
The test in the second session is comprised of an written exam relating to the theoretical aspects and the practical work. If students obtain a mark higher than or equal to 12/20 during the practical work, they do not have to take this exam held during the second session. |
