Presentation

Acquiring theoretical knowledge, clinical experience and practical and technical training to practice geriatrics in respecting European demands in this area.

Duration

  • Six years of study: three years of basic training (including two years of FUS) and three years specialised training.
  • Compulsory division for FNRS representatives or those with an equivalent mandate.
  • One year can be carried out in a training department approved by de Board of the Medicine Department.
  • The first three years of the Complementary Masters in Geriatrics correspond to the first three years of the Complementary Masters in Internal Medicine. Every year, students are required to comply with the respective conditions of these two Complementary Masters both as regards classes and the assessment examination level.
