Course contents :  
The Master in Veterinary Medicine Specializing overall objective to enable the candidate to deepen its knowledge, know-how and know-beings in the fields of internal medicine, surgery, and medicine Theriogenology herds of ruminants.
At the end of your training, you may have the opportunity to enroll in residency program for graduation specialist of the European College of Bovine Health Management (ECBHM).
This training includes skills in individual medicine and medicine herds. This pedagogical commitment for the part devoted to visits more cattle farms where individual cases are considered and herds ("VEB" and "Ambul")
Learning outcomes of the course :  
The outpatient clinic can be seen as an extension to the activity of individual clinical cases, while cases of cattle will also be examined. At the end of his training in Ambulatory Clinic, internally should be able to power a clinical diagnosis (most likely diagnosis) with the help of additional examinations or not. In addition, he will manage the various complementary examinations feasible operating at the individual or herd.
The activity of herd completely different from the clinical cases but requires individual competence. At the end of his training visits flock house should be able to be able to properly history of a herd problem, identify key risk factors (based on the ground of appeal) of a problem herd and propose solutions succinctly preventive / therapeutic or tracks to follow.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Lectures of internal medicine, surgery, Theriogenology, ruminant livestock medicine & related courses (epidemiology, infectious and parasitic diseases, nutrition, hygiene, etc.). Curriculum of Veterinary Medicine
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :

Approximately 50% of your time will be spent on activities "outdoor" Outpatient Clinic and VEB. You will attend as quickly as possible to TP and seminars for students and 3 GMV2 Ambulatory and VEB (face seminars or eCampus, trimming feet, scoring, ...) as well as debriefings weeks of outpatient clinic and VEB (3GMV). A seminar on complementary examinations in ambulatory and a seminar on lameness and trimming function are also provided and shall be compulsorily followed.
Other seminars / TP / TD will also be provided and taught by assistants or other senior or external (see specifications). The intern will have the opportunity to participate in additional training.
AMBULATORY:
A minimum of 10 days spent in an ambulatory clinic is required by internal. Clinical cases encountered in the outpatient clinic will be recorded in your record of activities (Excel Spreadsheet).


VEB:
During your training, you will participate in at least 17 ¿¿visits (one visit per week on average). Of course you can make additional visits depending on your choice of more focused training.
- 3 visits such as "lameness"
- 3 visits such as "udder health"
- 3 visits such as "neonatal"
- 3 visits type "management" (food, construction, management, etc.).
- 5 hits such as "monitoring reproduction"
At the end of the visit you will contact the assistant or the professor in charge of the visit, a brief report of the visit. Each visit is recorded in the record of activities (Excel Spreadsheet).
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
Mainly presence in Clinic ("VEB" and "Outpatient"), seminars and practical / tutorials. Report writing, reading articles, preparing seminars, etc.

Lecture Notes MASTER 1-2-3 veterinary medicine & Annexes on eCampus; book Herd Health Medicine.
