Learning outcomes of the course :  
Describe the physiological and biochemical bases of plant biomass production.
Describe the physiological factors underlying quality traits, in the perspective of sustainability and compliance with industrial demand.
Understand the responses of plants to their environment and to stressors.
After completing the course the student is expected to
Bridge basic plant mechanisms with major stakes regarding food supply, environment and industry, in the perspective of a sustainable and ever diversifying valuation of plants.
