Course contents :

| The course is held every odd year (2013-2014, 2015-2016...).
The course examines the dynamics of democracy in European Union and their Membres States.
It concerns the public policy of the States and the European Union has a direct impact on the relations between States. |

Learning outcomes of the course :

| The course has two objectives :
- understanding of issues related to democracy within the EU
- analysis the impact of several public policies on relations between States |

Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :

| The student following the course, should be aware of the concept of democracy, its complexity and its misuse in the order of political discourse. |
 |
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :

| The course will consist of introductory lectures given by the teacher, the case studies presented by guest speakers and presentations of work by students. |
