Course contents :

| The concept of complexity is closely linked to a contemporary world which is often described as changing and unstable. It also underlies the evolution of knowledge, the increase in the volume of knowledge and its division. This course aims to reflect upon the definition of complex thought in relation to humanities and social sciences, As well as its relevance with regard to the future professional and personal commitments of the students |

Learning outcomes of the course :

| The course aims to make students aware of the problem of complexity in the perspective of the history of science and in particular as posed by Edgar Morin, in order to discover the idea of "reliance", with a view to applying this to professional practice. |

Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :

| Knowledge of basic sociological and social science concepts, general scientific education. |
