Course contents :  
Theme : Sexuality is one of the basic elements of sociocultural systems.
Study subject : The course examines how societies and cultures structure, appoint and define sexuality. Gendering of human beings, animals but also things sexualization of individuals, companies genderisation, spaces and roles. Rituals, initiation and symbols.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
Objectives :
- theory : use of a particular research method : anthropology of sexuality, research and design, understanding intercultural and differentiated modalities.Sexualisation and genderisation. Work on the subject/object, relationship with the other, multiculturalism and stigmatisation. - empirical: understanding the area, encountering a sexual other, individual positioning, distancing, critical reading of the sociocultural construction of sexuality.

- theory (courses, publications) - empirical (experiments) individual areas, various experiments - active student participation - working on documents - compulsory conferences and films - conferences and debates (in and outside class).

- active participation - an oral exam at the end of the year - methods will be explained during the first class, and will be explained again at every session and upon student request.

Class attendance is mandatory
Schedule : 1st semester, Thursday from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm
Remark : Eating, drinking and smoking are forbidden in class as is the use of mobile phones, personal stereos, etc.
