Course contents :  
This course aims at presenting the legislative plant health measures set up by states.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
After completing the course the student must show its capacity
  • To understand and to evaluate the economical importance of plant diseases
  • To understand and to apply the procedure of risks evaluation (PRA procedure )
  • To understand the objectives of the different legislative measures set up by States or international organizations.

  • Framework of national and international legislative measures (lecture)
  • Procedure of evaluation of phytosanitary risks (Procédure PRA) (lecture)
  • Phytosanitary certification (lecture)
  • Case studies (student personal work)
