Course contents :  
Elementary functions : polynomials, logarithms, exponentials;
Calculus (one variable) : concepts of limits, derivatives, integrals;
Systems of equations;
Applications: Financial Mathematics (Simple interest, compound interest, annuities and sinking funds, loans), Marginal Analysis, Elasticity.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
Basic training in math. To be rigorous. To develop tools to understand statistics and the models used in management and economic sciences.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Elementary algebra.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
Each notion of the contents is illustrated by exercises.

Lectures (ex-cathedra course)
Exercises within the lectures + ad libitum
