Contents :
  • calculus (one variable and multiple variables) : elementary functions, concepts of limits, derivatives;
  • linear algebra: matrices, determinant, systems of equations
  • Application to business, management, economic sciences and finance.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
Basic training in math. To be rigorous. Develop tools to understand models used in management and economic sciences.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Elementary algebra : fraction, power, operations priority, proper use of parenthesis; First and second degree functions and their graphs.

Exercises with small groups of students
