| The course is dedicated to the study of the tensive semiotics and of its applications in the literary field. |

| 1. Initiation in the semiological approach to texts.
2. Initiation in theoretical problems relating to literary objects. |

| None other than an in-depth knowledge of the French language. |

| Each student must hand in a 5 to 10 page piece of written work at the end of the year. An oral assessment will take place on the basis of this written piece of work. |
