Course contents :

| Study of Spanish grammar and practice with four linguistic abilities: reading, oral comprehension, writing and conversation. |

Learning outcomes of the course :
 |
| This course is intended to improve knowledge of Spanish morphology and syntax and to develop the communicative ability gained during the first year course. At the end of the course students should be able to apply and to explain grammar rules, and their ability to communicate should reach level C1 according to the common European frame of reference. |

Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :

| Mastery of elementary morphology and syntax and basic vocabulary. The diploma or certificate from the Spanish Language I course is thus required. |

| Written exercises (these may eventually be posted online) and active class participation. |
