Course contents :  
The first part is dedicated to the transport function. The supply chain concept is defined. We study the structure of the distribution network and explain how to solve the minimum cost transportation problem. The second part is dedicated to the production function. We study the stock management. We present the just-in-time methods and the Material Requirement Planification.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
The objective of the course is to give an introduction to the logistics for the enterprise. We study the transport function, the stock management and the production planification.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Base course in Mathematics,
Base course of probability/statistics.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
Application's exercices are proposed to the students at the end of each chapter. Corrections are presented during the course.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
Presentation of concepts and solving methods are followed by practical cases studies.

Daniel De Wolf, Supply Chain Management, Editions de l'Université de Liège, with exercices.
Assessment methods and criteria :  
Written evaluation. Subject : pratical applications exercices. Duration : 2 hours. Authorized documents : formulas and tables.
