Course contents :  
Study of poets and prose writers associated with the Dutch East Indies (Multatuli, Couperus, Jan Prins, Hella Haasse, Han Resink, ...).
Learning outcomes of the course :  
Familiarize students with (post)colonial discourses and ideological undercurrents in Dutch literary texts.
