Course contents :  
Course aims to introduce students from language or litterature departments to principles, methodes, pratices and instruments of computer corpora and databases use.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
The course is an introduction. It does not directly aim at getting a practical expertise to the students, but to inform them about possibilities that offer these softwares, with the aim of their later personal works.

IMPORTANT REMARK:

The first part of this learning of the software Excel and Access) is common with the learning INFO1276-1 "Quantitatives and computer methods applied to literary studies". It is thus recommended to choose only one of them.
