Bio-physical relations between stream flows and its watershed :
Introduction to Ecohydrology
UE water framework directive : methodology and related resarches
themes (among other things) low-flow hydrology, stream borders, high flows managements, ...)


After completing the course the student is expected to
- understand the relations between the rivers and their watersheds
- interpret analysis results of a water quality analysis network
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
general hydrology
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
field visits
group workshops elaboration of a written report as well as a talk on the basis of a topic to be chosen between several proposals. The topics can lead to a multidisciplinary bibliography research or to a more specialised task like hydrological modelling in the context of ecohydrology.
