| - Analysis of the taxonomic and nomenclatural specificities with regard to the classification of cultivated taxa
- Cultivated variety identification : markers and application |

Learning outcomes of the course :

| - To assess the development of botanical systematics as an important plant science
- To understand how and why plants are systematically classified
- To identify the critical botanical differencies between economically important groups
- To master botanical and horticultural terminology
- To understand the use of phenotypical and molecular markers for horticultural variety description
- To argue the identification conditions of a genotype
- To write a monography (10 pages) on a given Genus (botanical, horticultural and economical state of the art) |
