Course contents :  
Study of the main tissular groups: - Epithelial tissues - Connective tissues - Muscle tissues - Nerve tissues Study of the lymph organs
Learning outcomes of the course :  
This course aims to introduce basic knowledges in histology.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
General biology, basic chemistry and physics.

Six practical cursus are organised at the level -1 of the "Tour de Pharmacie" CHU, Sart-Tilman

The volumes 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the Human Histology course (Professor E. Heinen, edition 2009) are available at the AREM.
Assessment methods and criteria :  
Written examination on the theory and on views of histological slides .

The facility for practical histology is located at level -1 of the "Tour de Pharmacie" of the CHU (universitary hospital center) Sart-Tilman.
