Course contents :

| Principles of soilscape analysis and Land Information System (LandIS) build up. Field diagnosis in regions up to now not illustrated in previous lectures. Personalized training at demand in relation with the personal report. |

Learning outcomes of the course :
 |
| To illustrate more abundantly in the field and in good weather conditions, the regional pedological specificities and the relations soils-societies on the base of the soil map.
After completing the course the student is expected to
- comment the Walloon landscapes or those discovered during an excursion abroad,
- to prove in a personal field work her/his ability to geomorphopedologically characterize a region and to comment its agro-environmental and soil scape specificities,
- lay the bases of a regional soil information system (SIS),
- and consequently show her/his ability to use adequate tools of computer graphics and GIS. |
