Course contents :  
This course is an introduction in participative management. His goal is to give an outline of the various levels of participation and a critical analysis of this practice.

1. Theoricals aspects of participative management 2. Participation in tropical natural ecosystems 2.1. Spatial occupation and territorial management 2.2. Theories on property management 2.3. Social and community forestry 2.4. Peripherics areas of reserves and social dynamics 3. Participation in temperate natural or semi-natural ecosystems 3.1. Rural plans 3.2. Rivers contracts 3.3. Collectives approchs in urban management
Learning outcomes of the course :  
Starting with lectures by experts in natural ecosystems management and reviewing articles that express opposite opinions, management methods based on local participation are presented to the students. After completing the course the student is expected to propose methods that reconcile social, ecological and economic aspect for a participatory sustainable management of tropical and temperate ecosystems.He will be also capable to developp critical mind about participation.

General course of ecology and sociology from 3 bach;

During the course, different publications are distributed among the students.
