Course contents :  
The objective of this course of "Finance and insurance principles" is to enable students to acquire the sufficient knowledge for dealing with the following issues:
  • Security valuation and asset allocation: bond pricing, equity and derivative securities pricing, portfolio theory (portfolio management and evaluation of portfolio performance)
  • Corporate finance: capital budgeting decisions
  • Insurance : insurance/risk premia, asset and liability management, risk management
