Course contents :

| A basic lecture about residential utilisation of electricity.
Several teachers will be in charge of the lectures but the coordinator will be the sole examinator.
The content includes basic circuit theory, safety aspects, implementation scheme as well as one line diagram, standards, rational use of energy, local residential production of electricity and power quality. |

Learning outcomes of the course :
 |
| The student will able to :
- give an overview of electricity use in residential area for non specialist
- perform simple circuits calculations with a good overview of power and energy in electricity
- understand and realize implementation scheme and single line diagram of domestic installations
- know part of regulation in that domain, including earthing
- will be able to understand, realise pratical simplified installations including safety aspects.

| basic lecture in physics, at university level. Also in mathematics. |

| The students must be present to all lectures and realize written reports on some exercices.
