Course contents :
 |
| The aim of the course is to provide 1) a close analysis of the belgian book market, from the two points of view of a historic and contemporary landscape ; 2) theoretical socio-economical tools about publishing industry ; 3) a survey of the main transformation of the french literary book industry since World War II. |

Learning outcomes of the course :
 |
| 1) Developing an in-depth knowledge of the international publishing industry as well as within the Belgium and French editorial fields;
2) Considering the publishing industry from the two points of view of economical constraints and sociology of practices;
3) Acquiring a practical knowledge of a moving professional field. |
