Course contents :  
The course is divided in 3 parts :
The firts part starts with a description of the stage of adolescence and the concept of juvenile delinquency. We describe criminological, developemental and evolutionary theories.
The second part presents and examines specific situations related to juvenile delinquency.
The last part concerns the application and the discussion around general and specific situations related to juvenile delinquency.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
- Acquire a good knowledge of a selection of general and specific themes related to juvenile delinquency. - Apply these knowledges and develop a methodological approach.

Recommended courses in preparation of this course: - Droit de la jeunesse (juvenile justice) - Théories criminologiques (criminological theories)

Workshops and presentations (instructions given to the fist course).

- Lectures - Class discussions based on theoritical concepts.

Are made available to the students: - the powerpoint presentations used during the course, - the literature used as support for the course.

First session: written exam (2/3) and workshops (1/3) Second session: oral exam.
