Course contents :  
Distinction between quantitative and qualitative approaches. Description of the stages of the qualitative research : guide of interview, field procedures; retranscription, data analysis. Every student will make a practical exercise which will be discussed
Learning outcomes of the course :  
Help to choose between quantitative and qualitative methods; to manage a qualitative research : to read and understand a text; to cut it in units of analysis; to make the link between data and theories
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Good knowledge of French language; important to be curious

Every student will have to prepare and lead an interview (or other exercice) on a given theme ; he will analyze, make the link with theory ...

Indispensable presence. Any problem of organization must be mentioned at once.

Readings will be necessary to understand the theoretical stakes and to lead the 'mini' research
