The course contents 3 chapters : Glasses, Ceramics and Cements.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
In this course, the aim is to present to the future chemical engineers the recent developements of Ceramics, Glasses and Cements for applications in electronic, aerospace industries, biomedical sciences,...

CHIM0605-2 : Inorganic Chemistry and Materials
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
Lessons : 30 hours
Laboratories : 30 hours
2 days for industrial visits (CBR and AGC Glass Europe).
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
The students must to be present to the 30 hours laboratories and 2 days for industrial visits. If they are not present, a medical certificate must be delivered.

Assessment methods and criteria :  
Laboratory report is equal to 40% of the final cote.
Oral exam (in January or in June) with 3 questions (60% of the final cote).
