Introduction Vegetation characteristics Flora and vegetation analysis - The floristic relevé - Classification methods : Zurich-Montepellier, numerical classification - Ordination methods - Classification systems Vegetation ecology and conservation topics
Learning outcomes of the course :  
After completing the course the student is expected to - be able to select a method to analyse vegetation in relation to a practical problem - be able to interpret a vegetation analysis in the context of environment management
