Course contents :

| This course is an introduction to sensory anthropology. A few theoretical and methodological tools are presented. The course revolves around some key themes that involve the senses : social organization, interpersonal relationships, skills, spaces, living being. The students are asked to make use of the concepts of sensory anthropology in a case study. |

Learning outcomes of the course :
 |
| First, students would gain knowledge of the history and topicality of the questionings of the anthropology of the senses, its main concepts and methodological tools and their relevance to other fields of inquiry in anthropology. Second, they would master a critical practice of ethnography regarding the senses. |
