Legal framework

A.M. of 14.02.2005 (MB : 04/03/2005) : Ministerial decree setting out the special criteria for approving specialist doctors holding a specific professional qualification in emergency medicine, doctors specialising in emergency medicine and doctors specialising in acute medicine, as well as internship supervisors and internship departments in these disciplines.

Presentation

This certificate aims to prepare doctors for authorisation as holder of the professional title of `competence¿ in emergency medical care.
The training aims, among other things, at acquiring the skills for managing an emergency department in terms of hospital and pre-hospital activities. From this point of view, candidates should acquire concepts of managing hospital service alerts (MASH plan) and managing exceptional situations (catastrophe plan).
