Course contents :  
Participation in consultations, in surgical interventions, in anesthesia, in the treatment of the hospitalized patients, and in the admissions of emergencies.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
To confront the students with real clinical cases
To have the ability to provide a differential diagnosis and to propose an adequate treatment.
Be able to perform the initial emergency care and to ensure the treatment of the intensive care patients.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Anesthesiology (1GMV)

Equine surgery (2GMV)
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
Further information in the students' office and in the office of the equine clinic.
Assessment methods and criteria :  
Oral exam with written preparation in june

Evaluation aligned to the students' activity during the clinical rotations, the treatments, and the emergency admissions.
Organizational remarks :  
Attendance in the clinics and in the emergency shift is compulsory.
