Course contents :
|
| Students get involved in the clinical team work. They take part to exams and follow ups of consultation or hospitalized cases in the field of anesthesiology, surgery,opthalmology, internal medicine and reproduction.
Moreover, they will receive practical reminders in semiology. Those reminders will be applied on clincial cases of the clinic.

| The aim of this clinic isto give the stiudents the opportunity to put into practice notions of equine semiology and medicine acquired during 1st and 2nd lectures.

| -Semiology of companion animals and equids (partim equids) (1 GMV)
- Equine anatomy, including anatomy of the reproductive system (Bac)
- Clinical anatomy (partim equids) (1 GMV)
- Physiology, including reproduction physiology (Bac)

Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :

| Students will take part to (1) clinical rounds (2) consultations (3) complementary diagostic tests (4) oral sessions
- Practically, the rules aplied to the students in rotation in the equine clinic are available on the 2 GMV web site
- Any absence has to be notified by email to the responsible of the clinical week and by phone to the secretary. Any unjustified absence or misbehaviour can lead to a penalized mark for the clinic.

Assessment methods and criteria :

| The final mark is composed of:
(1) Evaluation during the 3 weeks of clinical rotation in the equine clinic
(2) Practical test.
(3) "Bonus-malus" system depending on the involvement during the clinical rotations in the equine clinic
