Course contents :  
Teaching will be given through discussion from canine and feline patients admitted to the consultations, as well as from hospitalized patients from the intensive care unit of the clinic and around multi-media documents from the multi-media room.

Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Lectures of first and second doctorat, relative to those areas.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
Detailed information concerning the participation and activity of students during the clinics is available in the "règlement d'ordre intérieur" on internet
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
Clinical training is organized based on an 8-weeks rotation in the clinical activities in companion animals, and is completed by night and week-end duties, as well as clinical duties during the examination sessions (May-June and August) and holidays periods, starting at the end of the first exam session in GMV2.

Presence is required form 8hoo up to 17h00, or even 8h30 the next morning, for nught duties activities. .
Composition of groups of students and schedule of activities are available on internet before each new 8 weeks-period.
A full case report must be written
All practical details are collected in a " règlement d'ordre intérieur", available on intrent (web site of the CVU)
Recommended or required readings :  
There are no specific leaflets, although lots of written leaflets exist, for different practical seminars .
Assessment methods and criteria :  
Students are evaluated thoughout their activities in the clinic.

Organizational remarks :  
The presence of the student is due. For each absence or late arrival, the student needs to be excused in a very bried delay, medical certificate must be sent immediately to the secretary of the concerned service, with a copy to the general student secretariat. Missed days need to be made up.
Missed days will possibly lead to suspension to access the final examination. Unjustified absence will be punished and taken into account during deliberations.
