Course contents :  
Case studies on integrated weed management in different cropping systems and for non-agricultural land (forests, urban areas, aquatic areas,...).
Learning outcomes of the course :  
Develop the principles and modalities of integrated weed management implementation in agricultural and, more particularly non-agricultural areas. After completing the course, the student is expected to: Understand integrated weed management concept. Set up weed management systems for agricultural and non-agricultural areas. Understand mechanisms of herbicide weed resistance development, and the ways to avoid it.

AGRO0006-1 - Malherbology and weeds control
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
"Ex cathedra" courses (16h) are largely illustrated with slideshows.
Two field visits are planned (4h): one presenting methods specific to experiment on weeds and one on problems troubleshooting in case of grassed cultures.
Two seminars followed by a debate (4h):
  • Presentation of the current researches within the unit of crop production
  • development policy of herbicide by a representative of a multinational of the phytopharmacie
