Learning outcomes of the course :
 |
| To provide the european and national requirements and guidelines about the authorization procedure for the placing on the market of plant protection products; To make students understand the dynamics, constraints and forces which determine de regulatory frame relative to the placing on the market of plant protection products; To provide a suitable basis in toxicology and ecotoxicology in such a manner that the students can be immediatly efficient in the field of the registration of products. After completing the course the student is expected to - identify the challenges of the european plant protection legislation and its evolution; - to feedbackon, to use and to make a correct interpretation of toxicology, ecotoxicology and environmental fate end points; - Identify critical end point values for toxicological, ecotoxicolgical and environmental fate criteria in the evaluation summary of a plant protection product; - write a registration file, section ecotoxicology; - Find out registration relevant information in the main data sources. |
