Regression and modelling - simple linear regression - linear modelling - relation between model and experimental design
Design of experiments - experimental cycle - catalogue of experimental design - fractional design; designs for mixture factor
Control charts - for variables - for attributes
Learning outcomes of the course :  
To master some theoretical and practical principles in experimental design and statistical process control. After completing the course the student is expected to - be able to summarise data, - correctly interpret the results of usual statistical inference, - design and analyse correctly usual experimental designs, - be able to implement Shewhart control charts.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Basic skills in applied statistics, for example : - STAT1207-1 Applied statistics
