Course contents :  
Study of the variables that determine the nature of international relations in Africa. The question of African unity. The problem of regional integration in Africa. Africa's relations with the major powers and the Third World. Discussion on the main problems of foreign policy in African countries. Analysis of three or four major contemporary problems in the domain of international relations in Africa.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
To offer students a method and the knowledge to understand the events experienced in the continent of Africa. In particular, this course will allow students to take stock of this continent's economic marginalisation, the democratisation and construction of a State of Law, the issue of borders, the problem of criminal activity and the proliferation of conflicts, migratory issues and finally, Africa in the face of AIDS.

General knowledge of Africa
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
Lessons last two hours. The exact times, as well as the location of the classes, will be specified in the timetable handed out at the beginning of the year.
