1. Reminder of the principles of method, critical reading of the previous ones, 2. Outline of the theories on the social State 3. Improvement of contemporary developments

Reminder of the principles of research in social sciences, analysis of social policies and the future of the social State in Belgium
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Good knowledge of the sociological literature

At first based on ex¿cathedra lectures, the course then turns to a progressive participation of the students
