Course contents :
 |
| This course relates to the fundamental processes of impression formation and more particularly the impact of stereotypes and prejudices on our judgement of others. After a short recall of the basic concepts, the course will consider successively the various stages of judgement formation : stereotype activation, application and use of stereotypes and finally the possible inhibition or suppression of stereotypes. This course content relies on empirical articles recently published in the scientific literature. |

- Identify the key-arguments of a scientific article and be able to present it orally.
- To question efficiently scientific articles.

| No (an introduction course to experimental methods and to scientific approach is desirable). |

- Research seminar with presentation by the students of scientific articles or book chapters.
- Obligatory readings.

- the quality of the presentation
